Hero Future Energies (HFE) has chosen to implement the Wrench PMIS for its global portfolio of 4.5 GW of renewable energy assets across India, Ukraine, Vietnam, the UK, and Bangladesh.

Challenges Faced by Hero Future Energies:
HFE faced significant challenges in effectively controlling project information and tracking progress across multiple projects, which often resulted in difficulties meeting deadlines and staying within budget. The lack of a streamlined solution for project oversight made it harder for HFE to ensure projects were completed on time and efficiently managed from start to finish.
Scope:
Progress Monitoring Through Management Dashboard:
Gain real-time visibility into project progress with a centralized management dashboard.
Cost Management via Structured Process Flow:
A streamlined cost control mechanism implemented through a well-defined process flow.
Document & Workflow Management:
- Configured smart folders and workflow automation tailored to each project.
- Designed a standardized document folder structure aligned with project requirements.
- Established a robust document and transmittal numbering logic.
- Created transmittal templates specifically for the Engineering function.
- Customized the user interface for different user groups based on their roles and responsibilities.
- Applied security controls through a defined matrix at each folder level.
Procurement & Construction:
- Set up the procurement process with both automatic and manual data update options.
- Enabled Daily Progress Report (DPR) updates for construction activities.
System Integration:
- Integrated SAP with the Wrench Task and Cost Management Module, using Excel-based data exchange.
Safety & Compliance:
- Deployed the Non-Conformance (NC) & Safety Management Module to ensure on-site compliance and reporting.

- Introduced a systematic, user-friendly document approval process tailored to team functions.
- Improved collaboration by providing a single source of truth for project documentation and workflows.
SAP Integration for Real-Time Insights
- Integrated SAP with Wrench’s Cost Management Module and procurement deliverables.
- Enabled real-time data synchronization, allowing project teams to track actuals and costs directly from SAP, enhancing budget control and reporting accuracy.
