How to Attach Files with Tender Invitations: New Feature in Wrench SmartProject
This new build version of Wrench SmartProject enhances the tender invitation process by enabling the inclusion of attachments, categorizing them based on their association purpose, and improving how documents are shared and accessed by both buyers and vendors. These updates ensure better organization, transparency, and communication throughout the tendering process.
Key Features:
- Attachment Inclusion in Tender Invitations: Users can now attach documents when sending tender invitations.
- Association Purpose Column for Bid Attachments: A new column allows users to categorize attachments (Internal/Private, Tender Invitation, Tender Publication).
- Document Association Purposes: Attachments are assigned specific purposes, with options for “Internal/Private,” “Tender Invitation,” and “Tender Publication.”
- Default Association Purpose: The default association for attachments is set to Tender Publication, but users can modify it.
- Tender Invitation Document Link in Mail Template: Users can add a Tender Invitation Document Link in the Configure Mail Template window.
- Alert for Invalid Subject Field Input: An alert is displayed when attempting to insert the Tender Invitation Document Link into the subject field.
- Automated Document Link in Invitation Emails: The system automatically includes the Tender Invitation Document Link in emails based on the configured notification template.
- Easy Access to Tender Invitation Documents: Vendors can view and download documents directly from the invitation email.
- Confirmation and Notification of Tender Updates: The system saves changes when documents are added and sends notification emails to stakeholders.
- Vendor Access to Published Tender Attachments: Vendors can access only Tender Publication attachments once the tender is published.
