This update introduces key enhancements to the approval process for Defect and NC items in the Submitted status.
Key Features:
- Notification System: When an approver is reassigned, both the new and previous approvers receive notification emails, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Mandatory Approver Alert: If an attempt is made to save a Defect or NC item in the Submitted status without an assigned approver, an alert prompts the user to assign one.
- Admin Authority: Admin users can edit Defect and NC items in the Submitted status if the designated approver is unavailable.
- Approval Confirmation: Upon approval, an “Approved successfully” toast message confirms the action.
