Engineering Sustainable Livelihoods
The rapid rise of AI and automation is transforming the global workforce. While technology is improving efficiency, it is also creating job insecurity, pushing many into gig and temporary roles with unpredictable income.
This shift is driving a critical need for stable, future-ready livelihoods.
Wrench Foundation was established to address this challenge by building sustainable employment ecosystems rooted in food production, climate resilience, and scientific farming.
From CSR Innovation to Scalable Impact
Over the past four years, Wrench Solutions, through its CSR initiatives, developed a climate-resilient hydroponic farming system capable of growing a wide variety of vegetables in a controlled, efficient environment.
Building on this success, the initiative expanded into aquaponics, to produce organic vegetables by integrating fish farming into a closed-loop, sustainable ecosystem. Over the last year, this model has evolved into a profitable and sustainable business, supplying fresh high quality produce with complete traceability to local communities.
A Proven, Scalable Farming Model
This farming model is designed for global scalability and long-term resilience:
Climate-Resilient Infrastructure
Operates efficiently across varying environmental conditions
High Resource Efficiency

Food Security Through Climate-Resilient Farming SDG 2 – Zero Hunger | SDG 13 – Climate Action
We believe in teaching people how to fish instead providing them fish as it is not sustainable. Hence we aim to develop 100 climate-resilient farmers within the next year, enabling consistent food production despite climate variability and extreme weather events. This initiative strengthens local food systems while reducing vulnerability to climate shocks.
Sustainable Livelihoods- SDG 1 – No Poverty | SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth
Our goal is to ensure that climate-resilient farmers earn income comparable to white-collar professionals, making farming a viable, respected, and aspirational career choice. This supports economic resilience and long-term community stability.
Next-Generation Climate Education – “Little Farmer”
SDG 4 – Quality Education | SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production | SDG 13 – Climate Action
Through our structured Little Farmer program, we educate high school students on:
• Climate-resilient farming
• Rainwater harvesting
• Food composting
• Plastic recycling
The program builds early climate awareness, environmental responsibility, and practical sustainability skills among the next generation.
Climate-Resilient Housing & Water Solutions - SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation | SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities | SDG 13 – Climate Action
We designed and build to demonstrate climate-resilient housing and water management solutions, including a prototype house built by Varghese Daniel, CEO of Wrench Solutions as a CSR, to showcase real-world adaptation strategies that can be replicated and scaled.
Partner With Us - SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals
We invite like-minded organisations, CSR initiatives, NGOs, and innovators to join us as Climate Adaptation Partners. By working collaboratively, we aim to accelerate solutions that require immediate action and long-term commitment to achieve meaningful SDG impact.
