Tata Steel to use Wrench SmartProject as Digital PMO solution
India, 12th January 2023: Tata Steel, part of the Tata Group (formerly known as Tata Iron and Steel Company Limited (TISCO)) and one of the top steel-producing companies in the world, has chosen to implement Wrench SmartProject as its Digital PMO solution.
The Wrench SmartProject Digital PMO solution is an advanced integrated project management platform that uses the latest digital tools and technologies to collect, verify, and share project information with all project stakeholders, based on accurate real-time data gathered directly from the site(s).
Said Daniel Varghese, “I’m thrilled to be working with a forward-thinking company like Tata Steel and implementing our technology as their Digital PMO solution. In the past I’ve worked with other Tata organisations and have found their dedication to innovation and quality inspiring and in many ways reflective of our own ethos here at Wrench. I look forward to our continued partnership in the years to come”.
Tata Steel was looking to replace their legacy system with a more integrated solution that could function as a true virtual project management office aka Digital PMO and decided to go with Wrench SmartProject after a rigorous evaluation.
Said Naveen Nair, Head of Projects, Wrench Solutions, “Tata Steel will be implementing the full range of SmartProject functionality, namely the Integrated Project Management solution (IPMS) that digitizes the project lifecycle across all its phases from design to delivery. This version of our solution includes the basic EDMS module as well as features like procurement and vendor management, schedule-driven monitoring, real-time dashboards to review all the project’s progress on a single system, and more.”
