India, 23rd January 2023: The Steel Authority of India Limited, which is 65% owned by the Government of India and one of the country’s largest steel-making companies as well as one of its top Central Public Sector Enterprises, has decided to implement Wrench SmartProject as its engineering document management system (EDMS) at its office in Ranchi, India.
Said Harish Parihar, Deputy Business Head India, Wrench, “We are delighted to have won this contract with such a prestigious organization known as one of the ‘Maharatnas’ of the Indian Public Sector. It was a tough evaluation where we were up against big competitors and we are glad SAIL finally decided to go with our product.”
SAIL will initially implement SmartProject’s EDMS module, with plans to upgrade to the schedule-driven version in the near future.
