Provision to Resubmit Bids
Provision to Resubmit Bids
The existing bidding facility in SmartProject is streamlined with the following additional enhancements.
Opening bids after submission by the vendor
Currently, in SmartProject, buyers can open the bids only after the Bid Submission Date. In some project sites, tenders are handled informally, and the buyer may open the bids as soon as it is submitted by the vendor. Hence a new facility to open bids immediately after its submission is introduced.
Restrict multiple bid submissions
Vendors are only allowed to make changes to their submissions, with permission from the buyer.
Resubmitting bids
When a Vendor makes any mistake in the submitted bid or fails to submit the bid on time, the Vendor can send a request for resubmission to the buyer. During bid evaluation in case the procurement team requires additional information from the Vendor, resubmission is permitted. Buyers can flag the submitted or published bids for Resubmission, and permit vendors to resubmit the bid.
