DODSAL ENGINEERING ROLLS OUT WRENCH’S SMART MONITORING PLATFORM ON ALL RUNNING PROJECTS
17-5-2012: Dodsal Engineering has implemented SmartProject on two critical fast-track projects for Abu Dhabi National Oil Co., (GASCO, the Habshan Sulphur Granulation Project ($490 million) and the Habshan-Maqta-Taweelah pipeline project (US$450)) which are part of a $12 billion Shah sour gas field development. Dodsal chose SmartProject in response to GASCO’s insistence on weekly progress reports for all deliverables i.e. engineering, procurement, and construction. Earlier, Dodsal had to engage eight senior project managers just to capture progress and update reports, but now that progress capture is automatic and all reports are automatically compiled/formatted (exactly as per client requirements), they require only two senior project managers and rely on SmartProject to ensure accuracy and reliability of all data, as well as to ensure that required documentary evidence is captured correctly from respective stakeholders.
