India, 21st July 2023: Precision Equipment, a noted supplier of design and manufacture process equipment to Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Fertilizer, and Power sectors, will implement Wrench SmartProject EDMS and Schedule Controls across all new projects in design & manufacturer of equipment’s out of their Chennai plant.

Precision was looking for a system to replace their existing tool which required manual effort to update and also had technical issues in terms of handling documents. They chose Wrench SmartProject after seeing its ability to handle engineering, quality & safety process, and documents from within the same system. Precision also opted for customisations to the base EDMS engine, including the addition of a module for handling the Bill of materials data and the generation of part inspection reports digitally, and the creation of a project dossier within the SmartProject system.

Said Khamis, Sales Manager, Wrench Solutions, “In addition to replacing their legacy system, Precision wanted to set up a process that was similar to an earlier process they had followed with a previous mega-client of theirs. We were able to satisfy all their requirements from within the same system, which will bring a lot of value to their organisation and help them manage all future projects with greater efficiency”.

Precision Equipments is planning to add on further SmartProject modules in the future, starting with the resource management module.
