To address the limitation of the maximum number of custom properties in SmartProject, the introduction of a new property type called “Extended Property” within the Custom Characteristics masters offers an alternative solution. The extended properties serve as an alternative to custom properties and can be used to handle additional object properties beyond the standard ones. Extended properties enhance the flexibility and scalability of SmartProject by providing users with an alternative solution for handling additional object properties beyond the standard and custom properties, thereby addressing the limitation on the maximum number of custom properties.
