Heightened Level of Identity Assurance Using Digital Signatures
In several industry scenarios, there may be instances when specific authorized individuals need to sign documents using a digital signature. One popular platform for applying digital signatures is DocuSign. Digital signatures can be integrated into documents in SmartProject by establishing a gateway integration with DocuSign. The DocuSign SmartProject integration empowers you to ensure that the documents are accessed and signed by the correct person, thus eliminating the risk of fraudulent activities and unauthorized access.
The signing process for a document is entirely handled by DocuSign. A document from SmartProject must be uploaded to DocuSign for signature. The designated user receives a notification and can log in to DocuSign to complete the signing operation. Once signed, the document is returned to SmartProject and attached as a specter file, (as the signed copy is always in PDF format). To enable this integration, DocuSign credentials for SmartProject must be defined within SmartProject.
