Enhancements in 4D BIM Simulations
4D simulations improve construction planning, scheduling, and production control by integrating detailed schedules with building information models (BIM).
The comparison of the planned and actual schedules of a construction project is essential for effective progress monitoring and efficient project management. Efficient analysis of project progress is possible if the plan and actual schedule of the project can be simulated simultaneously on a dual screen. Hence a facility to simultaneously observe the plan and actual schedule of tasks in simulation is adequate to comprehend the construction progress. For better project progress analysis, a new facility to view the simulation of the plan and actual schedule of tasks in a dual screen is introduced.
