20-12-2013: WRENCH has concluded the trial run of its first cloud-enabled version on the Microsoft® Azure® cloud platform. “In the past customers preferred to deploy WRENCH onsite because they needed quick responses/access of large-size drawings and documents, and security was a bit of a concern. But today customer requirements and comfort levels with cloud technology are changing, and there is no longer a need to own the hardware or have manpower physically onsite,” said Aju Peter, Director, R&D. Now that WRENCH is cloud-enabled, it can be configured, activated, and ready-to-go in a couple of days. Another advantage is that the cloud-version allows for a subscription model, which greatly helps to ease customer’s cash flow.
