Consider a construction task in which the progress is monitored using an ROC. That same ROC applies to other construction tasks as well, with the contractor expecting to be paid based on the completion of milestones in the ROC. For example, when construction tasks under the milestone ‘Fabrication’ get completed the contractor is allowed to submit his invoice and his next payment will be after the completion of the next milestone ‘Erection’, and so on. In SmartProject, this process is handled by creating a Schedule task named Fabrication and linking it to the ‘milestone called Fabrication, and to all the construction tasks/deliverables that use the same ROC. This also applies when a scheduled property needs to be linked to another deliverable property with a different name.
