AM/NS India, a joint venture between Arcelor Mittal and Nippon Steel, has chosen Wrench SmartProject to be its digital transformation platform for project data, documents, and collaboration management on upcoming projects in Hazira, Gujarat.
AM/NS, which was formed after ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel came together in December 2017 to acquire Essar Steel for Rs 42,000 crore, recently began an Rs. 12000 crore project to debottleneck and expand the capacity of the existing unit, with plans to increase the production capacity at the Hazira plant to 18 million tonnes a year with an investment of Rs 50,000 crore.
