Our Solution for the society:
In 2020, at the onset of Covid, we began working on solutions to help communities facing climate-related challenges. We initiated multiple projects to develop climate-resilient solutions addressing the basic needs of food, water, and housing.
Food Security: Grow Your Own Food
Climate-Resilient Housing
To address challenges related to extreme heat, heavy rains, storms, and water scarcity, we developed a prototype climate-resilient house. This home has been in continuous use for the last four years, proving its effectiveness.

Our Journey
From manufacturing to construction: harnessing the power of digitization
Our story begins in 1998, when “Information Technology” meant CAD, email, MS Office, and Novell networks—nothing more. Fresh from college, mechanical engineers Varghese Daniel and Aju Peter saw an opportunity to improve the manufacturing design process through a kind of information technology that did not yet exist. So they built it, founding the company that would later become Wrench Solutions.
Guided by the principle “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts,” they created a product that used best practices to standardize processes across departments, while applying automation to improve efficiency across every task and activity. After Widia and Mico-Bosch—the two German-Indian subsidiaries—agreed to try the solution, companies like L&T, BHEL, BEL, Flowserve, and Xomox soon followed.
By 2005, Wrench recognized similar challenges in the energy industry, where manually driven processes were leading to delays and cost overruns. Building on its manufacturing expertise, Wrench began developing solutions for the Engineering & Construction sector.
Over the next few years, Wrench expanded into the Middle East and Asia, acquiring customers such as CH2M Habtoor Leighton, Atkins, Simon Carves, Tata Group, ENOC, and TOYO.
In 2015, Wrench launched SmartProject—an end-to-end, integrated, cloud-based system that supports the complete project lifecycle across engineering, procurement, and construction.
