Overview

Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) is a project management practice that begins during early project planning (with an ‘end in mind’) and spans the entire project lifecycle. It aligns engineering, procurement and construction and dissects project scope in a way supports the efficient execution of work and workface planning. According to Construction Industry Institute (CII), AWP techniques brings in 25% improvement in productivity along with other benefits like reduction in rework, better safety, better cost control etc.
