Quezon City, August 26, 2010: WRENCHTM announced today that it received a purchase order from Philippines-based Megawide Corp to install the engineering project control system WRENCHTM across all Megawide offices nationwide. Under terms of the agreement, WRENCHTM will begin phase one of implementation, including a detailed system study and needs analysis of Megawides various processes and systems related to project management, from October to December 2010. After bringing our technology to Malaysia and the Middle East we are excited to receive this first order from another new market where the EPC industry is booming. We are proud to be partnered with Megawide and look forward to helping them achieve global competitiveness through leaner and greener project management systems, Vincent Chia, Regional Director. We are also pleased with our local partner MicroPhase for their support in initiating this deal from introduction to closure. Megawide Corp, owned by Edgar Saavedra and Michael Cosiquien, is one of the fastest growing private construction companies in the Philippines. The company recently announced plans to raise around P3 billion in an initial public offering to bankroll its massive expansion program. We needed superior technology that would scale up with us and cater to both our increasing client base as well as to the internal challenges of a rapidly-expanding engineering organization. We evaluated other systems like SAP but came to realize that WRENCHTM fits our needs very well and is fully-equipped to match our business goals, said Edgar Saavedra, We expect to reduce project costs and time-to-deliver by at least 20 and 30 per cent, respectively, and to cut our carbon footprint by at least 60 percent, thanks to WRENCHTM all-digital document management capabilities. WRENCHTM is a project control system that automates and manages the project lifecycle from enquiry to delivery. Functions include document, quality, knowledge and deliverable management.
