WRENCHTM is proud to be chosen by BrahMos Aerospace Private Limited for engineering data management and design collaboration. BrahMos is the world’s fastest cruise missile and will be designed and built as a joint venture between India’s DRDO and the Russian Federations NPO Mashinostroeyenia. The name BrahMos comes from two iconic rivers - Brahmaputra in India and Moskva in Russia. WRENCHTM was chosen for its advanced Product data management and security features and will be implemented with a view to streamlining the transfer of engineering data from Russia to India (where the manufacturing will take place) and to manage the data across all locations (the original designs will be sent from Russia to India, and then modified as required for local materials/manufacturing conditions). WRENCHTM will be implemented with one main server in Hyderabad and satellite servers in various other locations including Delhi and Nagpur. All the data, both present and future, will be transferred, managed, updated, secured, and archived in WRENCHTM, and also integrated via WRENCHTM with BrahMos existing ERP so that newly designed data flows seamlessly from design to procurement and manufacturing. Mr. Manesh Elias The projects latest design data as well as its history will be made accessible online to the BrahMos manufacturing and design teams in three locations - Delhi, Hyderabad and Trivandrum. This data-sharing will be handled entirely through WRENCHTM, ensuring 100% security of sensitive information. WRENCHTM also has the unique capability to enable real-time multi-locational design collaboration, making it the ideal system for such global JV projects.
